I am here in Nairobi, Kenya. I am three hours ahead of all you guys there in the UK. I have worked my way through every item on the room service menu and yet I am still hungry, all I want is some chocolate – Galaxy would be preferable.

Most hotels we stay in have a shop within the confines of the hotel, this one doesn’t. What it does have is a curfew by which I mean crew are not allowed out after dark due to safety and security reasons which means the supermarket nearby is inaccessible.

To add insult to injury I know I have a huge bar of Galaxy at home on my side which I though I could bring with me but I though ‘nah, I’ll get it when I get there’. I won’t be making that mistake again any time soon!

Anyway, enough with the chocolate-related rant.

I’ll write again soon if I make it through the night.

Hey, I guess you will be reading this if it works, and well, if you
never see this then I am just writing it for the fun of it.

I am doing this to test whether or not I have configured the post to
blog via email setting correctly.

Well, all in all I’ve had a pretty productive day (4th October). My room is almost complete. I’ve been to IKEA to pick up the wardrobe and the new blinds and its looking good.

I’m off to Orlando in the morning, I’m not working though, I’m dead heading, the little perk I am yet to experience so it should be fun.

I am off to bed now as I have an early start.

Yes that time has come, I am very tired, and having been up the best part of a 24hrs I am going to call it a night (or day, its now light outside??)

Yes thats right, at 3am on the 4^th October 2008 my blog is born. There isn’t much here yet, but that is soon to change. This is my attempt to keep the world updated on all things Mike!

I currently have U2′s - I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For playing in the background and I am getting very tired. Its taken a while to sort this out, and I am very easily distracted by the likes of Facebook, Teagames and Youtube to name but a few.

I am going to leave you now, but make note, this is my first post. But certainly not my last.
